  • Education for girls in East Africa

The Child Development Fund (CDF) supports the development of poor and vulnerable children in Kenya and Tanzania. Our support concentrates on scholarships for girls to open up for them access to Secondary Schools or Vocational Training Institutions, and to ensure eventually graduation as the decisive precondition to earn their own decent living through start-ups or qualified employment. We cooperate with local social workers, project managers, community representatives and schools to ensure sensible selection and careful advice. We regularly report on the progress of the project via newsletters and other website information.

We currently support 33 children in two project places in Kenya (Mutonga and Kendu Bay) and five girls in the village of Jambiani (Zanzibar). Please visit our website for more information.

  • Help for Zanzibar

"Hilfe für Sansibar" is a registered, non-profit association which supports the people of Zanzibar who are in need of help and are not able to receive this on-site.

Our association is in close contact with people on Zanzibar, who represent the interests of our association on-site. NGO "Kilimani City" also belongs to those.

  • Future for children

"Future for children e.V." is an association which founded and supports the "Kihoto Baharini Pre School", 120 km north west of Nairobi, a school for the poorest of the poor children. The donations reach the school on a direct way. At the moment there are 3 teachers who teach and feed approx. 100 children between 2 to 7 years.
The association guarantees that all donations are given to the Kihoto-project and thus the children in need benefit of them directly. All members of the association are working on a voluntary basis. Sponsors cover the whole administration costs.

You have the possibility to sponsor a child. Once in a year the godparents receive a report on the health conditions and the physical and educational development of their godchild together with a current photo.
